- Hersey Point Preserve — This is a relatively small Nature Conservancy preserve that brings you to a small loop around a lovely headland. The total walk is about 1.2 miles.
- Reversing Falls — This is a mesmerizing place to watch the progression of tides. There’s also a there-and-back trail to two peninsula points. If you do it all, it’s a little more than a mile.
- Leighton Field — Walk through easy, mowed meadow paths to the shore of Cobscook Bay, just about ~0.3 miles from the trailhead.
