- McClellan Park — This isn’t really a destination for people wanting to go for a walk, but it’s so spectacular I’ve decided to include it. From the parking lot for day visitors (there is also a camping area), very short trails lead to the rocky coast and to well-situated picnic tables for dramatic dining.
- Milbridge Commons and Sudsbury Trail — You can explore two tiny trails, one 0.1 mile and the other 0.2 miles, in the town of Milbridge and catch some nice views of the river. In season, you should check out the amazing “nibble garden” at the commons.
