- Rockland Harbor Trail — The Rockland Harbor Trail extends from the downtown all the way to the Samoset breakwater, but the nicest section is the half mile between Buoy Park and Atlantic Street.
- Marie H. Reed Breakwater Park — A short wheelchair-accessible path along a beach takes you to a dramatic one-mile granite breakwater. (The breakwater will be hard for wheels b/c of the gaps between boulders.) Walk along the breakwater for views, seals, and a little lighthouse at the end.
- Bog Overlook Trail — You can walk a (sometimes muddy) short trail to a view of a vast peat bog. In time, the town would like to extend the trail to the waterfront.
