- Mount Will — A moderate three-mile loop on a smallish mountain with views from the south- and north-side ledges.
- Step Falls Preserve — This is a wonderful and popular 24-acre preserve with a half-mile hike up a waterfall made up of big, smooth white rocks and lovely, cold, green pools.
- Sunday River hiking trails — You can hike several biggish loops on well-marked trails at this multi-peak ski resort, to take in the fantastic views during the off-season.
- Puzzle Mountain — Part of the Grafton Loop, this delightful 3-mile hike to an open summit with gorgeous views is not too difficult, with great rewards.
