- Palermo Preserve — A short hike along a stretch of the Sheepscot River that is an ideal place for salmon spawning and rearing. Dogs allowed.
- Lindell Trail — An approximately 1-mile loop brings you through a forest to the edges of a marshy section of the Sheepscot River.
- McLaughlin’s Crossing — A bit farther north from Lindell Trail, you can walk a 0.7-mile blazed trail to a marshy area. Along the way, you can check out the sleepy Sheepscot River.
