Map shows trails in Oxford County
- Peary Mountain — A beautiful 1.3-mile or so there-and-back, on an unmarked but fairly popular trail. Nice open ledges at top with views.
- Burnt Meadown Mountain — Lovely, moderately easy (with some steep rock scrambles), and popular hike, just an hour from Portland. 3.5 mile loop, or 2.4 there and back to North Peak.
- Brownfield Bog — I love this place! You can do a long there-and-back walk of about 8,9 miles, or cut it short. There are two places to get to the shores of Saco River. Vehicles do tend to enter the wildlife management area.
