Gardiner Regional Middle School trails, Gardiner

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: Not sure
  • Trail Mileage: .75 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: mature forest

While there is under a mile of trails behind the middle school, they are pleasant, and seemingly well cared for. Like other school trails, it’s probably best to visit on holidays or weekends, when school is not in session. You can pick up the trails behind the playing fields.

You’ll start your walk on wide, mown paths before entering a mature forest. The trail is easy to follow, and there are blazes painted on trees.

Directions: Take Route 126 to Gardiner Regional Middle School, and drive to the back west parking area. Park near the gate.
