Mary’s Woods, Phippsburg

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: Not sure
  • Trail Mileage: .2 miles one way
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: wetland

Mary’s Woods is a very short there-and-back jaunt that takes you to a beautiful overlook of Cutting Creek in about 5-10 minutes. I think you can park in someone’s driveway but it feels a bit intrusive, even though they are kind to let people walk here. Perhaps you can park at the end of the drive and walk in?

For some other short walks nearby, check out Greenleaf Preserve and Noble Hill.

Directions: Take Rte. 209 to Fiddlers Reach Rd., go one-tenth of a mile and turn right onto the first driveway. Proceed to the end of the driveway.
