At this 100-acre Blue Hill Heritage Trust preserve, you’ll take a pretty walk in a varied woods, with a look over a wetlands area. A sign warns that the back loop is impassable in the the warmer months because it is too wet. You can find more info about this trail and other Blue Hill Heritage Trust trails here.

Directions: At the junction of Route 199 and Castine Road, take a left toward Castine. At the junction of Shore and Castine roads, turn right onto Shore Road and travel .7 miles. The trailhead will be on the right.
