The 0.7-mile trail (one way) on this 30-acre Maine Coast Heritage Trust property deposits hikers onto a cobble beach, with views of the Bold Coast. At low tide, you can walk over to Eastern Ear, a little island (a knubble?). A side trail takes you to an old silver and copper mine.
Directions: If you’re driving from the west, you will find the trailhead just after the sharp turn Route 191 takes in the village of Cutler. The trailhead is marked with a small side to the right of the fire station. You can park in a lot across the street from the trailhead and fire station.
