Moose Point State Park, Searsport

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 186 acres
  • Trail Mileage: 1.7 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: views of Penobscot Bay, evergreen grove, tidal pools

This is a lovely place to watch the sunset! There are a couple of easy paths at this park. If you do the perimeter trail along the sea edge and walk back along the access road, it’s about 1.25 miles. You have to pay a fee here in the summer, not so in the winter.

The trails are generally accessible but not the access way to the stony beach.

Directions: The park is right off of Route 1, between the downtowns of Belfast and Searsport.
