Good Neighbors Park, Cushing

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: Not sure
  • Trail Mileage: .7-mile loop
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: field, Broad Cove

Google calls this spot Good Neighbor’s Park. But on the day I stopped, I couldn’t find a sign; there was a bare trailhead kiosk with only the number 45 attached to it on the side of a medium-sized parking area. Several people were out walking their dogs on the lovely, short loop that circumnavigates a seaside field. The path is mown. If you do the whole thing and return via the road, it’s about 0.7 miles.

Directions: The park is off River Road, between Pleasant Point and Killeran roads. There is a parking area and kiosk on the side of the street closest to the water.
