When I visited in the winter of 2024, you could walk two trails at this peaceful 78-acre preserve, protected by Three Rivers Land Trust. One is a half-mile trail that leads down a gentle slope to a high view over Pump Box Brook, part of the Mousam River watershed.
If you retrace your steps, you can continue your walk on Coley’s Trail, which makes a roughly 0.6-mile loop back to the car, following a short section of a flat woods road.
Directions: There is parking at the end of Knox Road, a paved dead-end street.
