Sno Rovers X-C Ski Trails, East Millinocket

Volunteers with the East Branch Sno Rovers groom the eight miles or so of x-c ski track after big storms. The trails near the river are the loveliest. The skiing is flat and easy, very pleasant, and fairly well marked with periodic maps along the way. There’s no charge.

This trail system, along with the groomed trails in Millinocket — Bait Hole, Northern Timber Cruisers northern trails, and the New England Outdoor Center system — make this area a fantastic place for x-c skiers!

Directions: You can park at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church (the trails are behind the church) or at the Snow Rovers clubhouse.
