St. Pierre Preserve, Gorham

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 2.9 acres
  • Trail Mileage: .3 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: Little River

This is a teensy preserve, 2.9 acres, protected by the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust. It offers a little fishing/boat access spot and a .3-mile trail through the woods (which is not shown on the official map.) When I visited in July, parts of the trail were overgrown but a fellow with a weed whacker pulled in as I was leaving!

Directions: At Mosher’s Corner between Westbrook & Gorham, take Rte 237 toward Sebago Lake. Go approximately 1.5 miles and Rte 237 crosses Little River. Once you cross the river (over the bridge), you’ll see the sign and can park there and walk down to the river.

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
