This small city park is shaped like a green bean, or fava bean, really — it’s about 0.5 long and maybe 300 feet wide. Despite its modest proportions, you can still do a pleasant loop along flat, easy trails in a patch of woods. The park is bordered by Yale Street and Harvard Street, which I presume gave it its name!
Portland Trails says that the Harvard Trail, the long, straight path on the southern side of the park, is universally accessible. The park also forms a section of the Sebago to the Sea route. There is some nice exposed bedrock ledge where the path comes out on Harvard Street.
Directions: The best place to park is at the end of Feeney Way, off of Majors Court. The pavement ends at a small field, where you’ll find plenty of parking.
