The walkway is fairly short (0.8 miles), a smooth, wide brick path along the river and through a landscaped park. It’s right in town and offers pretty views over the river to Fort Knox.
Directions: Parking is easy. Two possible spots are at the Bucksport public boat landing or the Bucksport Veterans Park.
