The City of Bath maintains free cross country ski trails at the Bath Golf Club. The trails are dog friendly and groomed when conditions allow. The trail network is made up of two loops, the Blue (inner) Trail and the Yellow (outer) Trail. The Blue Trail is less than a mile long, while the Yellow Trail is 2.5 miles long. The Blue Trail is mostly flat and is good for novice skiers. The Yellow Trail is best suited for intermediate skiers, although some hills on the easternmost part of the trail are more challenging. All trails have double set tracks for classic skiing, and some trails also have skate lanes. The trails are almost entirely on the golf course, so expect them to be affected by wind.

Directions: From Route 1 East, take Exit L for New Meadows Road in West Bath and turn right coming off of the exit ramp. From Route 1 West, take Exit P for New Meadows Road in West Bath and turn right coming off of the exit ramp. After 0.9 mile, turn right onto Old Brunswick Road. Immediately turn left onto Ridge Road. In 0.8 mil, turn right onto Whiskeag Road. After 0.2 mile, turn left into the parking lot of the Bath Golf Club. The ski trails start from the right side of the parking area.
