Chip Stockford Reserve, Lovell

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: 155 acres
  • Trail Mileage: .9-mile walk
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: working forest

This Greater Lovell Land Trust preserve of 155 acres has a walk that’s roughly a mile and easy. The view of Kezar Lake was a little obscured by leaves when I visited in early fall.

Directions: From Route 5, turn onto West Lovell Road. Go about 1.3 miles and turn left onto Ladies Delight Road. The trailhead is about .3 mile on the right. You should see a sign for Bill Sayles Trail and a kiosk up a ways.
