This is a child-friendly, wheelchair-friendly 120-acre preserve, protected by the Greater Lovell Land Trust. From the parking lot, you can head down the Slide Trail to find the Nature Play Space, with a culvert tunnel, little purple hobbit house, big sand pile, a “mud kitchen,” and play boat, among other attractions.

An accessible 0.4-mile trail, the Storybook Trail, also leaves from the parking area. It swings by the river, along its tall banks, and includes a picnic table stop.

The third trail, the 0.6-mile Bev’s Loop also brings walkers along the high banks of the river as well as along a deep stream ravine. Expect a few short ups and downs along Bev’s Loop. It’s the most challenging of the three trails.

The canoe launch offers a bench with a pretty view of Kezar River.
