Donnabeth Lippman Park trails in green; Deer Hollow/Mud Pond trails in blue; snowmobile/side trail in yellow.
This is a fun town-owned park to take kids to because (at least during my visit), there was a little trail with signs along the way exhorting children to mimic the movements of animals, like frogs, kangaroos, and horses. There is also a playground, and the trails around the pond are pretty, flat, easy and easy to follow, and they include a boardwalk. Depending on when you visit, you might encounter some muddy sections of the trail.
The loop around the pond, if you follow the Yellow Trail, is roughly 1.2 miles. The connector trail to Mud Pond Nature Reserve is 0.4 miles.
Directions: Heading North on Route 302 in Windham, travel .6 miles from the intersection of Routes 302 and 35. Look for a dirt road on the right just before the Sherwin Williams paint store.
