Clifford Woods is a 52-acre property protected by the Maine Woodland Owners near downtown Farmington. There is mature forest throughout the property, along with a variety of small streams, steep hillsides, and bedrock outcroppings.

The map on this page shows the more well established and formal trails, but there are numerous other informal/unofficial trails throughout the property. The trails are unmarked, but the property is small enough that it is easy to explore without getting lost.

Despite there being a parking area at one of the trailheads, most people end up walking to the woods from downtown Farmington and a walk here can be combined with the trails on Powder House Hill and/or Bonney Woods.

Directions: The only trailhead with parking is located on Titcomb Hill Road. The parking area is marked with a sign for Clifford Woods and is located 0.3 mile east of the intersection with North Street.
