  • Trail Mileage: 3.9 miles in network
  • Pets: yes

This is a gorgeous 220 acres, popular with locals. You can get in a decent length walk here if you meander around or walk the perimeter. This Scarborough Land Trust map has trail distances. The trail skirts the edge of fields filled with nesting birds and wildflowers in season (note the dog rules at this time of year) and then heads into the woods. There are boardwalks! At one point, the trail crosses the Nonesuch River and it looks like snowmobile trails continue from there.

Additionally, a 0.4-mile forested trail connects Burnham Road to the preserve.

Directions: The address is 305 Broadturn Road. There’s a large parking area on the north side of the road.
