Goose River Peace Corps Preserve and Mill Pond Trail, Waldoboro

This nearly 100-acre preserve contains two preserves protected by Midcoast Conservancy. There are just under two miles of trails here, which intersect with snowmobile paths. There are some lovely spots along Mill Pond and Goose River, including a place on the Mill Pond side of the preserve where the stream creates fairly deep pools and flows over and around mossy rocks.

Directions: Follow Route 220 South for 4.8 miles from Waldoboro Village. Make a left onto Finntown Rd. The preserve entrance is located on the right 0.9 mi from Rte. 220 and parking is available along the sides of Finntown Rd.
