Guild Park (aka Red and Blue Dot Trails), Old Orchard Beach

QUICK TRAIL FACTS

  • Preserve Size: ~10 acres
  • Trail Mileage: .8 miles in network
  • Pets: yes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Sights: old-growth white pines

The one-mile trail system here takes you through old-growth forest of hemlocks and Cathedral Pines (white pines). It’s really awesome. The red and blue dots refer to the circular blazes of the two loop trails. A bit more info here.

Directions: From downtown Saco, go north on US Route 1 and then right onto ME Route 5 (Ocean Park Road). Pass through the “Halfway Intersection” in Old Orchard Beach and continue on Temple Avenue toward Ocean Park. Cross the railroad tracks and one of the trailheads with a small pull out is on your left, right after you pass Manor Street on your right. More parking is available around the corner on Free street.

Let me know if you have any trail updates or corrections!
